Description
Originally painted in 2015 in oil on canvas, Bakkanosi offers a serene, expansive depiction of the high valley landscape and traditional wooden farmsteads of Jordalen, near Norway’s UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord. The composition captures soft light filtering through low-hanging clouds over the quiet valley, framed by soaring mountain ridges leading toward the Bakkanosi summit.
Reproduced on premium heavy-weight archival paper, each print faithfully preserves the rich textures, cool earth tones, and luminous sky of the original oil painting. Every print is individually hand-signed by artist Nicholas O’Leary in the white margin directly beneath the image. Please note: Prints arrive unframed (frames shown in photos are for display visualization only).
